Welcome to GirliesGalore!!!
I started GirliesGalore through my Etsy shop in April of 2013 while pregnant with my second baby girl! I was in the process of completing my certificate in photography at LCC. I knew I would be needing super cute accessories for all the little girls I would be photographing, especially my new precious little one!
I started scouring the internet for cute accessories and thought "hey, I can do this"!! I had quit my job as a mail carrier for the USPS just a few months before, because my husband and I decided it would be in the best interest of our family if I became a STAY AT HOME MOM!! I was thrilled, however I started going a little stir crazy, so decided I would start making my own headbands to keep myself busy in between all the wife and mommy duties!
I started very small...just a corner in my basement, and then another corner and now I have the WHOLE finished basement to just my Etsy job! I have SHELVES and walls full of elastic, flowers, embellishments...GALORE!!! It's amazing and I absolutely LOVE it :) I have now grown from just headbands, to offering ties for little boys, and garters for brides! My product base is getting so much bigger each year and I'm so proud!
I do get a little backed up since it's still just myself creating but this dream allows me to be the mom and wife I want to be. I get to attend school functions, take care of my children when they're not feeling well and reap so many other benefits of staying at home! And it could'nt be done without all of YOU, my amazing customers!!! I love each and everyone of you! I want to shout "THANK YOU" from the rooftops for allowing a small hobby, turn dream...become a reality!
